StartSMART Training
Led by the program developers, this workshop ensures that school personnel, administrators, teachers, and nurses as well as older students, are provided with the tools to facilitate this prevention program in a middle school setting. The training includes materials and reviews for each of the eight sessions, explains the role of parents, describes the impact of school tobacco-free policies, offers recommendations for program evaluations, and shows how to produce quality anti-tobacco ads without access to studios or video editing equipment.
Half-day trainings are also available.
